Environmental Specialist (Air Emissions, Land and Biodiversity)
Reporting to the Manager Environment, you will focus on strategic environmental improvements across the region. Your responsibilities will include:
- identifying, designing and monitoring environmental improvement projects in relation to air emissions, land and biodiversity
- managing the ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System
- coordinating of the environmental audit program
- facilitation of Site environmental plans, objectives and targets
- engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve environmental objectives
- working in multidisciplinary teams to achieve sound environmental outcomes
- ensuring compliance with BHP Billiton standards and regulatory requirements To be successful you will be a professional with proven experience working in a similar role. You will have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal & external stakeholders. Your ability to manage multiple tasks will support your sound computer skills. Tertiary qualifications are essential.
