HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT AND TRAINING SUPERINTENDANT
Wambo Mine is an open cut operation located 20 minutes driving distance from Singleton. This position presents the opportunity for growth and career development in our rapidly expanding company.
In this senior role you will provide assistance on all site based occupational health, safety, environment and training systems and activities to ensure the competence and well being of people, the integrity of equipment and cultural change continuous improvement.
You will believe that all injuries are preventable and work hard with the management team to ensure our people work in a safe and healthy work environment.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a generalist safety or training role, including experience in workers compensation and return to work is essential, as is a Certificate IV in Workplace Training. You will have operational experience in a large-scale mining environment and be tertiary qualified or working towards a tertiary qualification with a proven commitment to excellent health, safety, environment and training management.
A sound knowledge of NSW OHS is essential and knowledge of the Coal Mining Legislation will be advantageous.
