Your purpose in this role will be to drive safety initiatives on site, you will be a conduit for communication between the project leadership group and the site based staff. You will inspire the construction teams to aspire to a No Harm vision by diligently monitoring safety systems and practices; and working with the site leaders to ensure they are achieving all of their legislative and operational OH&S requirements.

Safety Officer /OH&S Coordinator/Document Controller - Hawkesbury Area ( $25.00 to $35.00; Sydney)

A major engineering company who design , manufacture, and install purpose made products for the construction and civil engineering industries.

Their products and services are  frequently found on major construction sites across Australia .

Working closely with the companies Safety Manager  and Construction Manager we are now looking for an experienced safety Officer /OH&S Coordinator.

The preferred candidate will have :

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. At least Three years experience in an OH&S /Safety role preferably in the Construction and/or engineering markets.
3. Own Transport.
4. Ability to represent our client at site meetings throughout Sydney.
5. Ability to coordinate, produce and improve documentation required by Major Builders.
6. Checkable references.
