We are currently recruiting for a qualified Safety, Environment and Training Manager for our Telfer Operations.
Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with our Client Management Team, Employees and Contractors to develop, maintain, monitor and continuously improve our safety systems and standards
- Ensuring employee and contractor training and assessment requirements are monitored and maintained
- Conducting accident / incident investigation
- Liasing with the Client at all levels on Health, Safety and Environmental Issues
- Ensuring Risk Management Systems are monitored and maintained
It is essential that you will have:
- Graduate or Post Graduate qualifications in OH&S or a related discipline
- At least 3 years hands on experience in OH&S
- Mining industry experience in the underground environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Appropriate computer literacy
Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Workers Compensation Management
- Risk Management
- Procedures Development
- Behavioural Safety Programs
- Training
